Happy Fall! The Senior Center is bustling with activity, the Garden Club has planted the cold weather pansies and the heat even kicked on already at the center.

It’s Medicare Open Enrollment time. Our awesome SHIIP counselors are working many hours to find the best plan to give you the most coverage at the lowest cost. Call and make an appointment now if you haven’t done so. There is no cost to you; only savings.

I am excited to experience the Center’s Holiday Bazaar on Friday, November 17. Rent a table for $10 to sell your wares, or shop and enjoy lunch with your friends.

November is a time to remember and honor our Veterans; Sign up for the Veterans’ Breakfast on Nov. 14 and experience the dramatic reading from “A Patriot’s Songbook”. Check out the front page and consider donating a gift bag of needed items for our Veterans who would appreciate your caring.

This newsletter went to print before the Board of Director’s quarterly meeting on Oct. 25. Watch the December Notes for details of what was discussed and any action taken. Our goal is to keep you in- formed and also to actively engage with you on programming and facility needs at the center.

Check out the Volunteer Opportunities too! Our center thrives when Volunteers participate with staff to provide the best service to our county’s seniors.

~ Wishing you a Blessed Thanksgiving Season
